Shine @ freshwater Christian College
Shine is a specially-designed course aimed at building the self esteem and confidence of our Year 9 female students.
Run during class time, the courses focuses on developing each girl’s confidence in social conduct, core values and uniqueness, and more importantly drawing out the inner and outer strength and beauty.
Soon to be followed up with a similar program for boys called Roar in 2009, the Shine program is a collaboration between the college, church and local community at freshwater.
The course has been produced by the Hillsong Church and $100 is raised to allow each student to attend the course. Feedback from students who have already completed the course show this investment in their life will have long-term value. |
